What are the best and worst things about your job?

Best: When I win the confidence of team members.

Worst: When someone breaks the team.

Who was the first lawyer you ever worked under? What is the most important lesson that you learnt from him/her?

I worked with Mr D.Madhava Rao, Advocate at the City Civil Courts at Hyderabad . I have learnt from him that a case needs to be fought on professional grounds and not on emotional grounds.

If a seventeen year old came to you and asked you whether he/she should consider a career in law, what advice would you give?

I would suggest that he take up the legal profession as a career and go for independent practice.

What was your first car? When did you buy it?

I bought a Maruthi Alto in year April,2004.

Which is your favourite restaurant?

My own kitchen (as I am a good cook and love to cook a variety of dishes).

What is the best movie that you watched in the past year?

I liked The Illusionist.

Where did you go on your last vacation?

My home town at Rajahmundry (West Godavari District) Andhra Pradesh.

Which historical figure would you invite for dinner? If you could only ask one question of him/her, what would you ask?

Socrates, because he was learning till his last breath. I would ask him how he managed to learn so much.

What is the most significant change that you would make to the law school curriculum?

The curriculum should be more on practical oriented rather than theoretical.

What is the most significant change that you would like to see in the legal industry in the next five years?

More accountability for professional advice given to corporates.
